The Food Bank Society of the Yukon is a community-driven organization dedicated to providing emergency food to individuals and families in need—both in Whitehorse and in communities across the territory. Every month, we support up to 2,000 people with food hampers, including regular shipments of shelf-stable food to many Yukon communities, helping ensure that no one goes hungry.
We are deeply grateful for the generosity of individuals, families, schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations that support our mission year-round. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against hunger across the Yukon.
Every month, hundreds of volunteers dedicate their time to support the Food Bank’s operations, from stocking shelves to assisting with food drives. Your help is vital to our success.
If you’re interested in volunteering, visit our Volunteer Page.
To keep our services running, we rely on financial donations year-round. Your contributions ensure that we can continue providing emergency food to those in need. All financial donations are tax-deductible.

We accept food donations year-round. In addition to contributing during our food drives, you can drop off food at major grocery stores or at the Food Bank itself.
